Katty Inge February 23rd Webcast: Positive Behavior Supports by Dr. Inge

Join us for this webcast on Positive Behavior Supports, February 23, 2004.  The presenter is Dr. Katherine Inge, the Director of T-TAP.  The live webcast will discuss supporting individuals with challenging behaviors in the workplace.  This will include how to do a functional analysis of  behaviors, self management strategies, as well as involving coworkers in providing supports.  Case studies from supported employment programs will be used to illustrate the strategies. Ron Rucker and Nancy Brooks-Lane New Online Course: Organizational Change - Strategies to Facilitate Community Employment

This online self-study course provides an overview of issues facing agencies when facilitating competitive employment for individuals with disabilities. There are six video lectures developed by Pat Rogan, Ron Rucker, and Nancy Brooks-Lane. Ms. Lane is a member of T-TAP's CRP leadership network and provides a number of case studies of individuals successfully working in community jobs.

  Is your agency looking to expand community-based employment for people with disabilities?  If the answer is yes, your agency may be eligible to participate in activities designed to improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities. T-TAP staff and the CRP Leadership Network will be working with five agencies yearly to offer training and technical assistance to help providers develop their programs from segregated work and non-work options to competitive employment opportunities in the community.
