Employee Competency Checklist Goal: To ensure that each new employee is fully supported to master the critical competencies required to succeed in the Employment Consultant position. Background: This form provides an efficient mechanism for a new employee and their supervisor to communicate about training needs. All new employees bring their individual experiences and learning styles to the job, and their individual training needs will vary both in style and degree. This form allows the supervisor to develop an ongoing dialogue about the types of training needed for the employee to feel competent and demonstrate competency. In addition, it places accountability on the supervisor to help the new employee take the appropriate steps to reach competency. Procedure:
