What does children's Hospital say the benefits of working with Project SEARCH are?

Interviewer: In closing, could you give us some parting comments? Could you tell us what Children's Hospital would say about the benefits of working with Project SEARCH?

Susie Rutkowski:  I think Children's and our other partner organizations in Cincinnati that have started these programs, would say these folks with disabilities that work with us are great employees. They are dedicated and committed professionals. Children's enjoys the public relations aspect of this. We love to have visitors. We would invite all of you to come and see what we are doing and learn about how you can replicate this in your own community. We also would say that we are serving our own community through this program. We are offering employment and training opportunities to those that live in our neighborhoods and communities, in order to promote employment and a healthier community. So again, we invite you to come and see our folks with disabilities working. Go back with those lessons and work in your own community to offer opportunities to people with disabilities as well as to your businesses.
